Credentials Committee
Hears any contests concerning delegates and recommends the Permanent Roll of the Convention (i.e., the official list of who can vote and participate).
Rules Committee
Recommends Supplemental Rules for the Convention (these can add to or adapt the standard RPT rules for the specific county event, such as procedures for voting or order of business).
Permanent Organization Committee
Recommends permanent officers of the convention from among the delegates present (e.g., permanent chair, secretary, etc., to take over after the temporary phase).
Additionally
After the convention adopts permanent organization (elects a Permanent Convention Chairman), permanent committees may then be formed according to any supplemental rules adopted or appointed by the Permanent Chairman. These often include practical ones like: Resolutions & Nominations
Resolutions Committee
(to review and recommend platform resolutions or policy statements to send up to the County or State conventions).
Nominations Committee
(to consider and slate candidates for delegates/alternates to the state convention, though sometimes nominations happen directly on the floor or via other means).
